Lava Kerzenhalter

Glowing hot glass is tough. When poured onto a flat surface, it slowly melts until it hardens after a few seconds. The glassblower pours three layers of glass on top of each other and the glass itself takes on its final shape. The Lava candle holder freezes this moment. These unique pieces were created on the Generation Köln design platform in cooperation with the CIAV Meisenthal glass culture center.
